Begin with a full assessment

Clear aligners use a series of removable trays to move teeth. Your dentist checks your teeth, gums, and bite and may recommend imaging. More complex concerns may require another treatment or specialist care.

A plan made for your teeth

Scans or impressions help develop the plan. Your dentist will explain the proposed movement, any supporting steps, and progress visits. Annapolis Dental Care offers SureSmile aligners; candidacy and timing depend on your examination.

Wear and care are part of treatment

Follow your dentist’s instructions for daily wear and when to change trays. Remove aligners for meals and cleaning as directed. Keep them in their case when out of your mouth and follow the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions. Contact us if a tray is lost, damaged, or no longer fits.

Retainers protect the result

Teeth can move after active treatment. Follow your prescribed retainer schedule and keep follow-up visits. Ask about the complete estimate, possible refinements, and retainer costs. New or worsening pain, swelling, or bite problems should be evaluated.
