Go Brush Your Teeth: Weird Toothpaste Flavors

There are plenty of odd and unusual toothpaste brands out there, and just as many weird flavors to boot. Here is a look at just a few of them!

We can’t stress enough just how important brushing your teeth is. However, sometimes you want to take a break from all the mint and cinnamon flavored toothpaste you’ve been rotating through for years on end, only changing the flavor when you want something different. There are plenty of odd and unusual toothpaste brands out there, and just as many weird flavors to boot. Here is a look at just a few of them

Pine

Pine is a fantastic scent, soothing and woodsy. It reminds you of going for a hike on a lazy Sunday, doesn’t it? In most cases, pine is a common flavor used for air fresheners (either in your home or in your car) candles, soap, and fabric softener. Apparently, it’s also a decent toothpaste flavor. Who knew??

Bacon

There’s little doubt that bacon is delicious and is one of the best foods around. It smells and tastes great at breakfast, lunch, dinner, or anywhere in between! Even so, using a bacon-flavored toothpaste might not be doing your breath any favors.

Licorice

If you love licorice, then this entry on our list will please you. If you aren’t a fan, then we apologize in advance. We’ll say this: star anise certainly has a memorable character to it!

Cupcake

Having a cupcake every now and then can be a nice treat. Cupcake-flavored toothpaste, on the other hand, gives you that sweet jolt without ruining your teeth. Here’s something: don’t swallow this toothpaste, even if it reminds you of frosting!

Pickle

Pickles make for great snacks and awesome accompaniments to sandwiches. However, they have a high acid content, which can do a number on your teeth. You can get your pickle fix without harming your teeth, but your breath might not agree.

Coffee

A cup of coffee can be a good boost on a dreary morning where it’s hard to focus on the task at hand. Yes, coffee toothpaste does exist. If you’re going to sip on a cup of joe, then be sure to use a straw to minimize its contact with your teeth.

Chocolate

Actually using chocolate as a way to brush your teeth sounds amazing, but in reality, it would be a bit of a mess. Plus, you wouldn’t really be doing your teeth any good. Luckily, chocolate-flavored toothpaste exists!

Eggplant

You might think that eggplant belongs in a pasta dish and not on your toothbrush. If you love eggplant enough, well, we won’t discourage you from trying, but this is certainly one of the most out-there offerings on our list.

Curry

Curry is widely popular all over the world as a lunch or dinner dish when paired with rice. Believe it or not, curry toothpaste is an actual flavor you can try out, but the real question is, do you want to?
