We Cater to Hesitant Patients!

We Cater to Hesitant Patients!

We understand how many patients are hesitant to schedule another dental appointment.

We understand how many patients are hesitant to schedule another dental appointment. However, even with everything going on in the world, you still have to look after yourself. To that end, don’t cancel your appointment with us! We do our best to cater to hesitant patients who have anxiety or even fear about the routine procedures they need along with dental or oral surgeries that we can refer you to other specialists for! Put your trust in us!

We Are Friendly and Convenient!

Here at Annapolis Dental Care, we strive to provide you the best dental care you could ever for! Since we understand that many patients are scared of going to the dentist’s office for one reason or another, we will do all we can to put your mind at ease. We’re always welcoming new patients, and we proud to say that we cater to fearful patients as well. If you are in need of same-day emergency care, then we can help you out. Plus, we offer early morning and evening appointment hours to make it even more convenient for you to come and see us. The only insurance plans we do not accept are HMO and Medical Assistance; however, most other insurance networks are valid. Need another reason to come on down? We have ample parking!

More Tips for Nervous Patients!

So now with all of that in mind, let’s dive into some other tips for first-time patients who are coming from other dentists and offices:

  • Plan the appointment in advance: For many people, their anxiety comes from facing the unknown. Our best advice is to plan your upcoming appointment ahead of time – even though we gladly welcome walk-ins – so make sure you have enough time to get here on time and not stress about being late for your appointment.
  • Put on headphones: Another idea is to put on headphones and listen to calming music while your teeth are being inspected and cleaned. Classical music is a good idea, but so is listening to lo-fi music or ASMR sounds.
  • Try some breathing exercises:  Deep breaths can help anyone calm down as well. Breathe in, hold for four seconds, release, and then repeat.
  • Say something: Be sure to say something! Treatments and procedures can make anybody uncomfortable but your dentist will ensure that you are feeling calm, confident, and safe.
